Lifeline Data Centers Adopts IDCA Standards Framework

Indianapolis, IN, December 12, 2017– Lifeline Data Centers is announcing its adoption of the International Data Center Authority (IDCA) standards framework used to grade the effectiveness of the entire Application Ecosystem.  IDCA standards go beyond the current industry methods of grading only the data center facility infrastructure in silos.

IDCA standards tackle every component of Site, Site Facility Infrastructure (SFI), IT Infrastructure (ITI), even the logical layers of Compute, Platform and Application as part of a living and integrated ecosystem for optimizing the seven efficacies of availability, capacity, efficiency, safety & security, operation, innovation and resilience.

Lifeline Data Centers has long been known for hardened data center facilities.  Since employing Lifeline’s patented power and cooling delivery techniques, Lifeline has not experienced a customer affecting data center outage since 2008.  Lifeline’s adoption of IDCA’s framework allows Lifeline to prove how its FedRAMP Ready cloud hosting environment is as durable and trustworthy as its long-proven data center infrastructure.

Rich Banta, Lifeline’s Managing Member and Co-Owner, expects to be an IDCA Certified Expert by the end of January.  Using this knowledge with an IDCA auditor and IDCA’s Infinity Paradigm®, Lifeline will become the first FedRAMP Ready cloud hosting environment that can prove in an audit that its entire application ecosystem is the strongest and most resilient in the United States.

Alex, co-owner, is responsible for all real estate, construction and mission critical facilities: hardened buildings, power systems, cooling systems, fire suppression, and environmentals. Alex also manages relationships with the telecommunications providers and has an extensive background in IT infrastructure support, database administration and software design and development. Alex architected Lifeline’s proprietary GRCA system and is hands-on every day in the data center.
