Co-owner, Rich Banta, will be giving a brief presentation on the data center’s EMP (electromagnetic pulse) and CME (Coronal Mass Ejection) defenses at 12:45 p.m.

Lifeline Data Centers Ft. Wayne Data Center will be the first commercially available EMP and CME shielded data center in the United States.

The facility will house 84,000 square feet of colocation and private cloud space that is protected through a reinforced structure with a custom, state of the art, electro-magnetic pulse (EMP) shield. Have your questions answered regarding the technology behind the data center and why Lifeline selected Fort Wayne as its newest location.

Rural Fiber Initiative

Historically, roads brought commerce and opportunity to rural communities. The roads of today and tomorrow are fiber – providing opportunities for education, business, and entrepreneurship. As businesses, we are concerned Indiana has not prioritized this investment. The lack of investment in this connectivity is already impacting these communities – from preparing our children’s education opportunities, through businesses being attracted to these communities, to entrepreneurship growing within these counties.

The hardest hit and poorest of our rural communities are suffering from record low graduation rates, high unemployment, and even opioid deaths. If we hope to provide hope to these communities, it will be through connecting these communities effectively to the new roads of commerce and innovation. If we don’t make the investment today, these communities will continue to suffer – as will our state’s ability to compete.

We hope you can join us for this important discussion.
