NIST 800-171 and CMMC Compliance

NIST and CMMC Compliance for DoD

Lifeline Data Centers is your “Easy Button” in solving NIST 800-171 and CMMC compliance issues  for the federal government. Do not be intimidated and do not feel like it will cost more than the federal contracts are worth. Your company can inherit our controls and CMMC maturity model.

On September 29, 2020, the Department of Defense (DoD) issued its long anticipated interim rule implementing the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework. 85 FR 61505 (Sep. 29, 2020). Along with issuing a new DFARS clause to implement CMMC, DoD also added a new requirement that covered contractors have a NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment.

By working with Lifeline Data Centers, your company inherits the NIST 800-171 controls and CMMC maturity model for the data your company has in our facility. This normally satisfies an auditor’s initial assessment. Afterwards, your company simply develops a GAP Analysis and/or POAM, presents these documents to the auditor and builds compliance of the remaining controls over time.
